Look Better, Feel Better and Live Better at Woodlands Medical Aesthetics Institute

By Rudy Arispe

After practicing as a board certified gynecologist since 2000 in the Woodlands, Dr. Johnny Peet decided to retire from obstetrics and open Woodlands Medical Aesthetics Institute with one goal in mind; to help patients “look better, feel better and live better.”

Woodlands Medical Aesthetics Institute offers a variety of body contouring, skin tightening, hormone therapy, hair replacement, skin care, and weight loss programs and services for men and women.

“In addition to testosterone therapy, we have all the cutting-edge technology available for the treatment of erectile dysfunction, including platelet-rich plasma injections and low-intensity shock wave therapy.” Dr. Peet continues, “We also do platelet-rich plasma injections for hair rejuvenation as well as laser therapy for hair rejuvenation.”

The aesthetics institute also offers the latest in non-surgical laser services, such as CoolSculpting body contouring and Emsculpt. Both procedures have been cleared by the FDA to eliminate stubborn fat. Microneedling for skin tightening and chemical skin peels are also popular with patients.

“We are truly blessed to do what we do because we get to see someone’s journey,” said Janet Kane, medical aesthetician and laser aesthetician. “Some people like to start small while others want to do it all. Our role is to educate you.”

Sandi Oliver has been going to Woodlands Medical Aesthetics for four years and is very pleased with Emsculpt. “’I’ve had the Emsculpt procedure recently on my abdomen and glutes, and I could really feel the difference in the gym in the way my body performed,” she said. “I feel better, my muscles feel stronger, and my clothes fit better.”

Heather Bell, RN, is the institute’s master nurse injector. She handles all injections for neurotoxins, fillers, hyaluronic acids and collagen stimulants. “Our environment is unique to work in,” Bell said. “I think aesthetics starts out with a stigmatism, but it’s a warm feeling whenever you get to help people feel better about themselves. Our goal is to help people preserve their natural expressions and natural architecture while bringing out the best in them.”

Medical aesthetician Lizzy Morrison stresses that education of staff is integral. “We all have great backgrounds in education relating to the services we provide,” she said. “We constantly update our education, so patients can come in and have top of the line services with the best providers.”

Dr. Peet encourages you to call for a free consultation on most non-surgical services. “Our mission is for patients to look better, feel better and live better,” he said. “If they’re doing that, then we’re doing our job.”
